Three teenagers have pleaded not guilty to the murder of 16-year-old Chloe Watson Dransfield just days before her upcoming funeral. Chloe, a resident of West Yorkshire, tragically passed away after sustaining stab wounds on March 28 around 6 am.

The accused individuals, Kayla Smith, 18, residing at Kennerleigh Avenue, Archie Rycroft, 19, living on Middleton Park Road, and an unnamed 17-year-old boy, faced murder charges earlier this year. The trio entered their pleas at Leeds Crown Court during a recent hearing.

A trial date has been set for November 10 this year, with expectations for the trial to last up to three weeks. During the court proceedings, disruptions from the public gallery led to the court being cleared by Recorder of Leeds Judge Guy Kearl KC, emphasizing the importance of appropriate behavior in a court of law.

Chloe’s family has announced her funeral arrangements at Dewsbury Crematorium on Tuesday, May 5, with a horse-drawn carriage procession starting from her residence at 10 am and the service commencing at 11.15 am. The family has extended an invitation to all who knew and loved Chloe to join them in paying their respects.

In the wake of Chloe’s untimely passing, her family expressed profound grief, highlighting her vibrant personality, zest for life, and the immense void left by her absence. The family’s heartfelt message underscores the irreplaceable loss they feel and the everlasting love and memories they hold for Chloe.
