Actor Patrick Muldoon’s cause of death has been disclosed, indicated as myocardial infarction, commonly referred to as a heart attack, on his death certificate. Muldoon, recognized for his roles in popular 90s TV series like Saved by the Bell, Melrose Place, and Days of Our Lives, passed away at the age of 57 at his Beverly Hills residence. The death certificate also mentioned that he suffered from a hereditary coagulopathy disorder and a pulmonary embolism.
A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot obstructs a vital artery or reaches the lungs, while hereditary coagulopathy disorders are genetic conditions that impede proper blood clotting, leading to excessive bleeding.
Tributes have poured in following Muldoon’s demise, with friends describing him as endlessly generous, stylish, charismatic, and full of life. The California native started his acting career in the early 90s, featuring in popular shows like Who’s The Boss and Saved By The Bell before landing significant roles in Days Of Our Lives and Melrose Place.
Muldoon’s on-screen presence extended to movies like Starship Troopers and Stigmata, and he also ventured into producing projects. He is survived by his partner, entertainment lawyer Miriam Rothbart, and his parents, Deanna and Patrick Muldoon Sr.
