The 76-year-old leader mentioned that the treatment effectively resolved the issue with no remaining traces.
During a routine medical check-up, doctors identified an early-stage malignant tumor, which was not immediately publicized. Netanyahu explained that he delayed the release of his health information due to ongoing tensions with Iran, aiming to avoid further false accusations from Tehran. He disclosed that the initial surgery for the benign prostate took place around 18 months ago, and continuous monitoring led to the detection of a small malignant spot during a recent evaluation.
Expressing gratitude for the successful treatment, Netanyahu emphasized that the prostate issue is now in the past. The Prime Minister’s decision to withhold his health records was influenced by geopolitical circumstances, including the collaboration between Israel and the US against Iran.
