“Woman Arrested for Child Neglect in Baby’s Tragic Death”

A 35-year-old woman has been taken into custody on suspicion of child neglect following the tragic death of a 14-week-old baby girl in North Reddish, Stockport, Greater Manchester. The baby was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive. The arrest was made after authorities responded to a welfare concern report just before 11 am on Saturday.

The Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest and stated that the investigation is in its early stages, with officers maintaining an open-minded approach. The woman remains in police custody while the scene is being secured for further examination. Despite efforts from emergency services, the baby could not be saved, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
