The United States and Iran have officially signed a memorandum of understanding to bring an end to the ongoing conflict, as confirmed by two senior American officials. The peace agreement was finalized digitally, and the memorandum is now operational. Iran has a 60-day window to demonstrate its commitment to peace and reform following the agreement with the United States. Both countries will engage in negotiations to address significant issues, such as the management of the Strait of Hormuz, the allocation of a $300 billion fund for Iran’s reconstruction, among others.

The full text of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) was made public on Wednesday, setting the stage for upcoming talks over the next two months between the US and Iran, with the US aiming to achieve denuclearization. President Trump cautioned Tehran’s leadership to adhere to the terms of the agreement, emphasizing that failure to do so could result in a resumption of hostilities and the continuation of efforts to dismantle the Islamic Republic’s regime.
