Thousands of England supporters gathered at World Cup fan zones as an alternative to expensive match tickets. The Texas Live Fanzone boasted a massive 100-foot screen, live DJs, interactive games, and the energetic Lone Star Dance Squad.

Mark and Michelle Lynch, from Fort Lauderdale, secured four $500 tickets through a FIFA draw, making it a dream trip for them. Their son, Finley, who plays for Inter Miami under eights, joined them along with his grandfather, Christopher Morby, from Surrey.

Mark, originally from Bournemouth, expressed his excitement about winning the tickets through the FIFA site lottery and mentioned their anticipation for the upcoming game at the fanzone. Finley, eight years old, was thrilled about his dad’s ticket win and praised Ciro, Lionel Messi’s son, for his impressive skills.

The fan zone was adorned with flags representing various clubs like Stoke City, West Ham United, and Oldham Athletic, creating a vibrant atmosphere for fans to enjoy. Visitors like Joe Salazar from Blackburn and Kyle d’Souza from the Dallas Reds shared their enthusiasm for the event and the upcoming match.

The festive spirit continued with Dutch fans celebrating their team’s draw with Japan, while others like Danny Stewart made the journey from Nashville to witness the game. Attendees marveled at the atmosphere, with Kyle d’Souza highlighting the excitement of having England playing in the World Cup.

Additionally, families of players, including Harry Kane’s wife and midfielder Jude Bellingham’s father, were seen supporting their loved ones in Dallas. Player families were encouraged to spend time in the same time zone as the team before training commenced. Notably, Arsenal stars had extended leave due to the recent Champions League final, with their partners, like Tolami Benson and Mia McClenaghan, planning to attend the games.

The anticipation for the upcoming matches was palpable, with fans and families alike eagerly looking forward to the World Cup action unfolding in Dallas.
