LIV Golf standout Tyrrell Hatton expressed his disappointment with the course after a rough start to his final round at the Masters on Sunday. Hatton began the day at 4-under par after posting even par on Saturday and an impressive 66 on Friday.

Although he started positively with a birdie on the second hole, Hatton faltered with a bogey on the challenging 251-yard par-3 fourth hole. The error proved costly for the English golfer.

His tee shot landed just off the green after traveling slightly long. What should have been a routine two-putt turned into a frustrating sequence for Hatton. After missing his first attempt by about three feet, he made a crucial mistake with his putt hitting the lip of the cup.

Known for his occasional emotional outbursts, the 34-year-old displayed visible frustration with head shakes and muttered words before finally sinking the putt on his fourth try.

In a moment of exasperation, Hatton exclaimed, “This place is ridiculous,” as he returned his putter. Spectators were in for another surprise as Wyndham Clark, in the following group, unleashed his own profanity-laden outburst after a similar putting mishap.

Despite the early setback, Hatton’s performance improved later in the round. An eagle on the seventh hole followed by a birdie on the eighth lifted his spirits. The challenging conditions, including the firm greens affected by the Augusta heat, led to struggles for several players, including Hatton and his LIV Golf teammate Jon Rahm.

Rahm, who finished 1-over for the tournament, expressed his need to make adjustments based on the unprecedented firmness of the Augusta National course. He highlighted the unique challenges presented by the firm conditions both off the tee and on the greens.

As Hatton concluded his round at -10, securing the clubhouse lead, other top players like Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose continued their pursuit. Golf enthusiasts can catch the action of The Masters starting on April 6 through various viewing options, including Sky’s Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle featuring a wide range of channels and streaming services.
