President Donald Trump issues a stern warning, stating that unless Iran agrees to a peace deal, there will be a resurgence of bombings at a heightened level and intensity.
The US President decided to halt efforts to assist ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz to create space for potential negotiations to end the conflict with Iran. However, the US military’s blockades at ports will remain in effect.

Trump attributed the decision to pause guiding ships in the strait to requests from Pakistan and other countries, recent military achievements against Iran, and progress made towards a comprehensive agreement with Iranian representatives.
Negotiations seem to be at a standstill since the conflict initiated on February 28 when the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi engaged in discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing, marking Araghchi’s first visit to China since the beginning of the conflict. China’s significant ties to Tehran give it a unique position of influence.
In Washington, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed optimism that Beijing would urge Tehran to ease its control over the strait, a crucial route for global energy transportation.
