Sussex Police responded to a medical emergency near Warrior Square, St Leonards in Hastings after receiving concerns about a man’s well-being. Despite immediate assistance from paramedics and the arrival of an air ambulance, the man was pronounced dead at the location.
Authorities closed off Carlisle Parade and set up a screen on the beach to facilitate ongoing investigations. The deceased man’s relatives have been notified and are receiving support from law enforcement. The police confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson from Sussex Police stated that the emergency response began after reports came in at 11 am on May 24.
