A mysterious winner of the EuroMillions is being urgently called upon to step forward as time is running out to claim a prize worth £112,000 before it expires.

The winning EuroMillions ticket was purchased in Powys, Wales, on December 12 last year, but no one has come forward to claim it yet. The deadline to claim the prize is June 10.

To assist in locating the winner, the National Lottery is appealing to anyone who was in the area around the date of the draw to thoroughly search through their belongings such as bags, drawers, and coat pockets for the ticket.

The ticket matches all five main numbers and one Lucky Star, with the winning numbers being 7, 25, 30, 37, and 41, along with Lucky Star numbers 5 and 11.

Andy Carter, a senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, emphasized the urgency of the situation, urging individuals who were in Powys around the time of the draw to recall if they had purchased a EuroMillions ticket.

If the winning ticket remains unclaimed by the deadline, the prize money, including any interest accrued, will be redirected towards National Lottery-backed projects across the UK.

Players have a 180-day window to claim their prizes following any National Lottery draw. For inquiries or to claim a prize within the specified period, individuals can contact the National Lottery Line at 0333 234 5050.

Recently, in the EuroMillions draw on April 21, two UK ticket-holders each won over £41 million. The winning numbers were 13, 16, 29, 40, and 47, with Lucky Star numbers 3 and 4. Two tickets purchased in the UK and one in France matched all seven numbers, sharing the jackpot and winning £41,844,862.30 each.

Andy Carter celebrated the success of the UK winners, highlighting the ongoing streak of big wins for EuroMillions players and encouraging ticket-holders to check their tickets promptly.
