Jamie Varley, 37, expressed strong emotions while refuting the allegations of killing 13-month-old Preston Davey. Varley, along with his partner John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, is accused of subjecting the adopted child to ongoing sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, as stated in the trial at Preston Crown Court. Both defendants have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
