Health updates have been provided on three horses involved in falls at the Grand National event. Mr Vango, Top Of The Bill, and Quai De Bourbon required assessment after incidents during the race held at Aintree, near Liverpool.

Mr Vango, who fell at the sixth fence, is under the care of trainer Sara Bradstock. Despite sustaining an avulsion fracture in the neck, Bradstock expressed optimism for the horse’s recovery. Mr Vango is currently being treated at Leahurst Equine Hospital, with Bradstock mentioning that he is responding well to treatment and may return home soon.

The trainer remains positive about Mr Vango’s future in racing, mentioning the possibility of a comeback next season pending further evaluation via a CT scan. Meanwhile, Top Of The Bill, trained by Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies, was also examined post-race and is reported to be in good condition.

Additionally, Quai De Bourbon, trained by Willie Mullins, was assessed following a fall at the second fence and was scheduled to return home after the event. The horses’ well-being post-race reflects the dedication of their trainers and caretakers.
