Residents in the warned regions are urged to be vigilant for flash flooding risks and to check road conditions before traveling.
In the event of thunder, individuals are advised to seek shelter in a secure enclosed space, such as a car, avoiding trees or structures that could attract lightning strikes. Additionally, the Met Office predicts showers in Scotland and western parts of the UK, with heavy rain in the north, scattered showers in the south, warm and humid conditions, and gusty winds in the northern regions.
