A man in his twenties is currently hospitalized after being attacked by two individuals in the outdoor seating area of a pub in Sudbury.
The incident took place at the White Horse pub on North Street in Suffolk. Law enforcement responded to the scene following reports of an injured man outside the establishment around 11:50 pm on Saturday. According to Suffolk Police, the victim was allegedly assaulted at the Comfortable Cow pub on King Street just before the attack occurred.
The victim sustained a single stab wound to his arm during the assault carried out by two men wearing face coverings and armed with a bladed weapon. Following the incident, the victim fled the area with the suspects pursuing him along King Street before turning away from the pub. The injured man was swiftly transported to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Descriptions provided by authorities indicate that the first suspect is over 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a slim build, donning a black Adidas-style hooded top and a balaclava. The second suspect is described as being under 5 feet 6 inches, also with a slim build, dressed in black attire, and wearing a balaclava.
Law enforcement officials have categorized the assault as a “targeted incident” and suspect that the individuals involved were acquainted with each other. Ongoing investigations include a review of CCTV footage and other inquiries within the vicinity.
