Numerous Lufthansa staff members sustained injuries during the incident at Germany’s primary airport. An airline spokesperson informed the news agency that the aircraft’s nose landing gear collapsed while it was parked. The mishap occurred with crew and ground personnel on board, with no passengers present. Several employees were hurt and are currently undergoing medical treatment.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident, as reported by the German newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau. Technicians and support staff have been deployed to the site for assistance.
The aircraft involved in the incident was flight number LH450, scheduled to depart for Los Angeles. A visual of the plane’s nose on the runway has been captured.
