Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have officially agreed to face each other in a boxing match. The announcement was made by Saudi Arabian boxing official Turki Alalsheikh on social media. Joshua is set to have a warm-up fight in July before the anticipated showdown.

Fury made a successful return to the ring recently, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov after a 16-month hiatus. He disclosed that he had already signed the contract to fight Joshua, who did not engage in a face-off in their last encounter. If Joshua emerges victorious in his upcoming fight without any injuries, the highly anticipated match against Fury is scheduled for November.

Following a car accident in Nigeria, Joshua’s return to the ring was delayed. He has been training diligently in Ukraine with champion Oleksandr Usyk, who believes Joshua is destined for greatness and will triumph over Fury.

Fury expressed confusion over Joshua’s reluctance to engage in a face-off, citing personal struggles and the unpredictable nature of heavyweight boxing. Despite the long-awaited showdown, Fury remains uncertain about whether the fight will materialize as planned.
