Iran has issued a warning to the United Kingdom, stating that if HMS Dragon enters the Strait of Hormuz, it will face an immediate and decisive response. This caution came from Iran’s deputy foreign minister following the UK Ministry of Defence’s announcement of deploying HMS Dragon to the Middle East to participate in safeguarding shipping in the strait.

Concerns have been raised by atomic science experts regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons capability, with reports indicating that the regime has enough plutonium reserves for around 200 nuclear bombs. Nonproliferation Policy Education Center Executive Director Henry Sokolski mentioned that Iran might have had the opportunity to develop nuclear weapons.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu abruptly left a press conference after receiving an urgent phone call from the US president. This interruption occurred during a conference with heads of Druze and Circassian authorities at the Dead Sea, as reported by Israeli C14 News.

Pakistan, acting as an intermediary in peace talks, confirmed forwarding Iran’s response to a US-proposed deal to end the conflict to Washington. Additionally, French President Emmanuel Macron has responded to Iranian threats concerning the presence of French and British warships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s stance against the deployment of British and French warships in the strait remains firm, with the deputy foreign minister emphasizing on social media that any such action under the guise of protecting shipping would escalate the crisis and trigger an immediate and decisive response.

Amid ongoing tensions, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued new guidelines to the country’s armed forces to be prepared to respond powerfully and decisively to any aggression. These directives were conveyed during a meeting with generals, emphasizing readiness to counter any strategic errors or military provocations by adversaries.

The US Central Command reported the deployment of more than 20 US warships enforcing a blockade of Iranian ports, redirecting commercial vessels and disabling some as part of the blockade efforts. This action aims to maintain control and security in the region amidst escalating tensions.

Iran’s response to a proposed peace deal from the US has been sent to Pakistan for review and consideration. The details of the peace deal, including provisions like lifting sanctions, releasing frozen assets, and suspending nuclear enrichment, have been under deliberation.

In a show of readiness, the Royal Navy has dispatched the HMS Dragon to the Middle East to join an international mission aimed at safeguarding shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. This strategic move is part of a coordinated effort with France to ensure the security of vital shipping routes in the region.

As tensions persist, Iran has reiterated its firm stance against any country enforcing US sanctions, warning of challenges in passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s military spokesperson emphasized the strengthened political unity within the Iranian system and the resolve to confront any obstacles posed by external pressures.

Overall, the situation in the region remains tense, with various nations and stakeholders closely monitoring developments and preparing for potential escalations.
