The collision involved a Skoda Karoq and a VW Golf R, with the Skoda driver, a woman in her 60s, and two young passengers, a five-year-old girl, and a boy, sustaining severe injuries.
The Lancashire Police confirmed the heartbreaking news of the young girl’s passing on Tuesday. The family is receiving support from trained officers during this difficult time. The Skoda driver and the boy passenger are still hospitalized for their injuries, while the VW Golf R driver, a man in his 20s, is also hospitalized with serious injuries and is assisting in the investigation as a witness.
