A couple who underwent IVF treatment at a now-closed fertility clinic in Orlando, Florida, discovered that the baby they had given birth to was not biologically related to them. Tiffany Score and Steven Mills, the parents, filed a negligence lawsuit against the clinic and the fertility doctor, Milton McNichol, in January. They sought legal help to locate the biological parents of their daughter, Shea.
Subsequently, another couple who had also received treatment at the same clinic emerged, suspecting that their embryo might have been mistakenly implanted in Tiffany. Both families underwent DNA testing, revealing that the other couple were indeed the genetic parents of the child.
