Nathan Fielder, the renowned comedian, writer, and director from Vancouver, has unveiled a teaser for his upcoming project. The documentary focuses on Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who was convicted of fraud in 2022 for misleading claims about revolutionary blood testing technology. Titled “You Can See Everything,” the film, created in collaboration with filmmaker Lance Oppenheim, delves into the events leading up to Holmes’s imprisonment in 2023.
Oppenheim, known for works like “Spermworld” (2024) and “Some Kind of Heaven” (2020), has joined Fielder in this venture. Fielder gained popularity through his show “Nathan For You,” where he humorously dispenses misguided business advice. The documentary, distributed by A24, showcases a visually striking trailer featuring a tense exchange between Holmes and Fielder.
Premiering at the Telluride Film Festival, the surprise screening has generated positive buzz among critics. Director Daniel Howat praised the documentary as “hysterical” and “shocking,” while music producer Erik Nordgren hailed it as the best film of the year.
The film’s release in theaters is scheduled for next month, promising an intriguing exploration of Holmes’s downfall and the dynamics between her and Fielder.
