A former Metropolitan Police officer has denied accusations of defrauding high-end stores of expensive items, such as a £700 bikini and a MacBook. Sunna Harrison-Aziz, 28, residing in Coulsdon, South London, faces charges related to corruption and fraud, including instances where she allegedly feigned non-receipt of online orders.

Charged with five counts of misusing police powers, four counts of fraudulent misrepresentation, and one count of obstructing justice, the ex-police constable stood before Southwark Crown Court and entered not guilty pleas to all 10 charges. In the courtroom, she confirmed her identity while also denying any involvement in the alleged offenses. Her co-defendant, Edgar Morais, 30, from Croydon, similarly refuted allegations of encouraging corrupt activities.

Harrison-Aziz is accused of falsely claiming non-receipt of a Dior bikini valued at £700 and an Apple MacBook worth £2,599 from Currys. The prosecution also asserts that she allegedly misrepresented not receiving a £1,920 Cartier Mini Love wedding band and an £840 Moncler Spa Abelle jacket. Additionally, she faces accusations of unauthorized access to police records on five occasions between January and September 2022.

Furthermore, she is charged with attempting to obstruct justice by concealing her iPhone from authorities, falsely reporting it as lost or damaged, and subsequently destroying it following a police search of her residence. The trial for these charges has been scheduled for March 27, 2028.

During the court proceedings, Judge Nicholas Rimmer informed Harrison-Aziz that her trial date was set for the earliest available slot due to court scheduling constraints. Another defendant, Eugene Nunoo, 30, from Eastbourne, East Sussex, also pleaded not guilty to charges of influencing Harrison-Aziz to misuse her police powers. Nunoo appeared via video link at the same court on a separate occasion.
