Ex-CDC Chief Warns of Ebola Pandemic Risk

A former head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) expressed concerns about the potential of the Ebola outbreak to escalate into a severe pandemic. Robert Redfield, speaking on NewsNation, predicted that the situation could worsen significantly, possibly spreading to Tanzania, southern Sudan, and Rwanda, causing disruptive effects. Ebola, a highly infectious disease transmitted through bodily fluids, is known for inducing fatal haemorrhagic fever, rapid organ failure, and internal or external bleeding.
