Streaming content through devices like Fire TV Sticks has become popular in many households. However, not all methods of accessing shows and movies online are legitimate. To address concerns about the legality of streaming, a new legal option has emerged.

eBay now offers the PLEIO, a puck-shaped streaming device powered by Freely. This device provides free access to over 50 live channels and offers on-demand content, a TV guide, personalized recommendations, and the ability to pause or rewind live TV. Additionally, buyers of the PLEIO box receive 12 months of free access to the PLEIO Extra platform, which includes over 250 games and a controller. After the initial period, the subscription costs £9.99 per month.

The PLEIO box supports 4K streaming and comes with a voice-enabled remote control. It is available for purchase on eBay and Amazon for £99. While similar to Sky’s Stream box, the PLEIO does not offer the same premium content lineup as Sky. Sky Stream customers can access services like Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max for a monthly fee starting from £15.

For households seeking free TV content over broadband, the PLEIO and Freely combo may be a suitable choice. However, viewers who want access to live sports, movies, and premium entertainment may prefer Sky Stream despite the additional costs for premium services.
