Deadly Blast Hits Damascus Café Near Palace of Justice

An explosion near the Palace of Justice in Damascus, Syria, has resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals and left several others wounded, as reported by state media. The incident took place at a café on Al-Nasser Street in the Al-Marjah district of the city center around 3:24 pm local time, causing injuries to 10 people, according to the Syrian ministry of health.

Situated close to the Palace of Justice, near the Hejaz railway station and Al-Marjah Square, the café’s vicinity was cordoned off by security forces following the blast, as per Al Jazeera reports. The cause of the explosion is currently unknown.
