Relatives are coming together to support a 10-year-old boy who is in critical condition after a tragic incident in Co Antrim that claimed the life of a teenager. Christopher Faulkner’s family is receiving widespread community support from Limerick and Tipperary.
Christopher, who is the cousin of Scarlett Faulkner, recently passed away due to a brutal roadside attack. The collision, involving a black Volkswagen Golf and a silver Volkswagen Passat, occurred on the Belfast Road early on Sunday, April 26. The driver of the Golf has been apprehended by the PSNI on various driving-related charges.
Sadly, a 16-year-old passenger, identified as Callum Hutchinson from Co Tipperary, lost his life at the scene. Christopher was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition. A vigil is scheduled at St Lelia’s Church in Limerick to pray for Christopher’s recovery and for Callum’s soul, with a large turnout expected to show support to both families and the wider community.
