The incident occurred shortly after the start of the school day, prompting an air ambulance to land on the school grounds just before 9 am, followed by Hampshire Police’s arrival.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance dispatched a team consisting of a doctor and two advanced paramedics via helicopter to the scene at 8:58 am on Thursday, May 14. Hampshire Police reported being alerted at 9:54 am on the same day regarding a medical emergency at Kings’ School on Romsey Road, Winchester, where a woman in her 40s was pronounced deceased. The authorities confirmed that the death was not considered suspicious, and preparations for the coroner’s report were underway.
Following the tragic event, numerous students paid tribute to the deceased teacher, who served as the head of business and computing at the school. Heartfelt messages were left outside the school, expressing gratitude for her kindness and impactful teaching methods.
