A London cultural festival was disrupted on Saturday evening due to multiple injuries. The Ghana Party in the Park event in Barnet was temporarily stopped as a result of an overcrowding situation, confirmed by event organizers.

Authorities responded to the event at Copthall Playing Fields following reports of overcrowding, which led to injuries among attendees. Despite the incidents, the injuries sustained were reported as non-life-threatening by the police.

The Metropolitan Police in Barnet clarified that the festival was canceled due to overcrowding causing injuries at the entrance, dispelling rumors of a stabbing incident. They advised the public to avoid the area to allow emergency services to handle the situation effectively.

Event organizers took to social media to inform the public about the temporary pause of the festival. They urged people not to travel to the site and requested cooperation by staying away to facilitate the work of emergency services and authorities managing the situation.

Further updates on the incident will be provided as soon as more information is available. The organizers expressed gratitude for everyone’s patience, understanding, and cooperation during the ongoing situation.
