The United States has advised its citizens in the Middle East to be ready for a potential evacuation in response to Donald Trump’s recent threat of military action against Iran. The State Department has issued a new warning covering ten Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Egypt.

Americans in the region are urged to stay vigilant and be prepared to leave if the situation escalates. The advisory also highlights possible flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions. The unpredictability of the Iranian regime, demonstrated by recent unannounced attacks in the region, is emphasized in the warning.

In a statement, Major General Ali Abdollahi of Iran’s wartime military command accused the United States of hastening towards a widespread regional conflict. He called on Muslim countries to carefully assess their cooperation with the US to avoid being drawn into a destructive war.

Travelers to and from the Middle East are advised to monitor airport and airline updates due to potential disruptions. U.S. diplomatic facilities worldwide, not just in the Middle East, could be targeted by Iran or its supporters. The alert extends to American interests globally, including businesses and institutions associated with the United States.
