A tragic discovery has been made during the search for two missing individuals near a Haven holiday park in Wales. Authorities responded to reports of a body found on a beach in Aberystwyth. The deceased has been identified as Connor Parfitt, one of the missing men last seen near Hafan-Y-Mor Holiday Park in Pwllheli. The family and coroner of Connor have been notified.

The other missing man, Simon Wilson, remains unlocated, and efforts are ongoing to support his family, as stated by North Wales Police. Concerns were initially raised when the pair, believed to be heading to the beach with inflatable kayaks, went missing on July 21.

A significant search operation involving coastguards and the RNLI was launched, with a plea for information from witnesses. Chief Inspector Stephen Pawson expressed condolences to both families and acknowledged the collaborative efforts of various agencies, volunteers, and the public in the search.

Authorities are appealing for any information on Simon’s whereabouts, urging individuals to contact them with reference to O120829.
