Ebrahim Azizi, head of Tehran parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, emphasized the consequences of any attack on Iran, warning that the US, Israel, and Ukraine should expect a response. Zelensky mentioned increased Russian satellite surveillance over the Gulf states and US military facilities, with resulting imagery appearing in Iran.
While the US has paused its attacks on Iran for the third consecutive night as negotiations continue, both Iran and the US are preparing for potential escalations. Reports suggest Iran has relocated military equipment, including rockets, missiles, and drones, from the east to the west. There is concern that Iran may launch a preemptive strike on Israel, with the possibility of Hezbollah being rearmed with Iranian supplies.
