Princess Eugenie is set to welcome her third child soon, following the pregnancy announcement made in May, stating that the new family member would arrive in the summer. Buckingham Palace and the princess shared a heartwarming image of her two sons observing an ultrasound print to reveal the news, with the King expressing his joy at the announcement.

In an official statement, it was declared that Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are anticipating their third child together, expected this summer. Their older sons, August (5) and Ernest (2), are thrilled about having a new sibling. The King has been informed and is pleased with the news.

Despite the impending joy of a new baby, Princess Eugenie has faced challenges this year due to her parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, being embroiled in the Epstein scandal and under scrutiny for their association with the convicted sex offender. Following their removal of titles and departure from the Royal Lodge by King Charles last October, the couple has maintained a low profile away from the public eye, vehemently denying any misconduct.

Speculation suggests that Eugenie has distanced herself from her parents amidst the ongoing scandal and police investigation into Andrew post his February arrest. However, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond believes that despite the circumstances, the grandparents will eagerly welcome the new family addition.

Jennie commented that Fergie has been a devoted grandmother to Eugenie and Beatrice’s children and is likely to offer support to her youngest daughter behind closed doors if invited. While the Epstein scandal continues to cast a shadow, the dynamics within the family remain private and discreet. The couple may share a photo of the newborn at a later time, but it is unlikely that Andrew or Sarah will be included in the picture.

The complexities of the situation indicate that any relationship Eugenie now has with her parents will be kept confidential, a decision likely deemed best for all involved.
