A courageous charity fundraiser, facing the same fate of dementia that claimed the lives of 12 of his relatives, has been granted a special opportunity to attend a World Cup match by a prominent player of the England national team.

Jordan Adams, aged 31, has traveled to Atlanta to witness the England versus Argentina game after receiving a ticket from Kobbie Mainoo, a star midfielder of the team. Jordan’s remarkable efforts in raising funds for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) led to FIFA partnering with his advocacy organization.

Expressing his excitement on social media, Jordan shared his journey from Heathrow to Atlanta and his battle with the terminal prognosis of FTD. His plea for a ticket to the match was answered by Mainoo, who facilitated his attendance at the game.

Grateful for the opportunity, Jordan acknowledged Mainoo’s generosity and expressed his eagerness to raise dementia awareness in collaboration with FIFA. As a FIFA “special guest,” Jordan emphasized the importance of making a difference and living life to the fullest.

Jordan and his brother Cian, known as the FTD Brothers, founded an organization to raise awareness about FTD, a disease that claimed their mother’s life. Through their efforts, they have raised nearly £2 million for dementia research, honoring their mother’s memory and raising awareness about the disease’s risks to their own lives.
