“Discovering Deliciousness: M&S 0% Fat Greek Yogurt with Fruit Compote”

Everyone has their favorite grocery store, whether it’s for the regular shopping or just grabbing a few necessities. When it comes to my weekly shopping routine, I usually opt for Sainsbury’s and Aldi due to their generally affordable prices.

I used to steer clear of shopping at M&S because of its reputation for high prices, aiming to avoid any surprises at the checkout. However, I’ve come to appreciate M&S for certain items that I find are worth the extra cost.

Previously, I’ve mentioned the superior quality of chicken at M&S compared to Sainsbury’s and Aldi, but some months ago, I stumbled upon another product that caught my eye.

While browsing the dairy section for my usual Greek yogurt, I came across something that piqued my interest.

I have a great fondness for yogurt, and I consume it almost daily for breakfast or a snack, especially during this time of year. Typically, I go for the large containers of 0% fat Greek yogurt from M&S.

However, I noticed that M&S offers small pots of 0% fat Greek yogurt paired with fruit compote – available in cherry, peach, and honey variations.

I decided to try all three flavors, each priced at £1.20. Among them, my favorite turned out to be the peach variant.

These yogurts serve as a premium and healthier option compared to a Muller Corner. The larger section holds the Greek yogurt, while the smaller part contains a deliciously sweet compote or honey.

With just 113 calories and over 12g of protein, these yogurts make a great addition to breakfast or a fulfilling snack.

Fage, a brand available at Sainsbury’s, offers a similar product, but it only includes honey without the added fruit. Additionally, it has lower protein content per 100g and a higher calorie count.

While Aldi stocks small pots of 0% fat Greek yogurt in mango, raspberry, honey, and vanilla flavors, the taste of the Greek yogurt in those pots didn’t quite meet my preference.

For those who enjoy Greek yogurt paired with fruit, particularly peaches and cherries, these pots are definitely worth trying out. I went through four of them just last week.
