“Train-Minibus Collision in Ukraine Claims Four Lives”

Four individuals lost their lives in a tragic incident today when a train collided with a minibus in Ukraine’s northwestern Rivne region. The crash, which occurred in the town of Kvasyliv, also left several others injured. Emergency responders are currently at the scene dealing with the aftermath of the collision that took place at approximately 1:55 pm local time.

Initially, reports from the police indicated three fatalities from the accident, while the injured were receiving medical attention. Subsequently, authorities updated the death toll to four. The exact circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation as reported by ukrinform.net.

The Rivne Region Police released a statement via social media around 12:30 pm UK time confirming the traffic accident involving the train and shuttle bus in Kvasiliv village. The authorities stated that three fatalities had been confirmed, with injured individuals receiving necessary medical care. Further details regarding the tragedy will be provided in due course.

In a later update, the police force mentioned that, based on preliminary information, the number of fatalities resulting from the train-minibus collision had risen to four.
