Multiple individuals have reportedly sustained severe injuries following an incident where a coach collided with a building and a bus stop in Spain, prompting a significant emergency response. The accident took place in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, at approximately 7:15 am local time.
According to local sources, out of the 46 individuals who received medical attention, four were critically injured, nine suffered moderate injuries, and 33 had minor injuries. The coach, which was en route from Lleida to La Granja d’Escarp, crashed on Rambla Ferran, a well-known street in the city known for its historical significance and pedestrian-friendly environment with various shops, residential buildings, and 19th-century architectural structures.
As emergency services, including police, paramedics, and firefighters, continue to assist the passengers, the road where the accident occurred remains closed.
