Meghan Markle recently shared a heartwarming photograph of Prince Harry embracing their children, Archie and Lilibet, in a post on Instagram to mark Father’s Day. The image captured Harry with a wide smile as his kids affectionately hugged him, their faces hidden from view.

In the caption accompanying the photo, Meghan expressed gratitude for Harry, saying, “They are so lucky to have you, we all are. Happy Father’s Day to our one and only.” The attention of royal enthusiasts was drawn to a significant detail in the picture, notably, Archie’s choice of attire.

Archie, aged seven, sported an England football jersey emblazoned with the words “England FIFA World Cup” and a prominent football graphic. Despite not residing in the UK for six years, observers were delighted to see Archie paying homage to his birthplace as the World Cup unfolded in the US.

Fans took to social media to express their delight, with one writing, “Our little Prince Archie in his England #WorldCup2026 Jersey,” and another commenting, “Archie repping the Three Lions already.” This gesture towards Harry’s homeland coincided with the announcement that the Sussex family, including their three children, would be attending a special Invictus Games event in the UK in July.

During their upcoming visit to Birmingham for the official one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, reports suggest that Harry and Meghan have been offered royal accommodation. It is anticipated that they may have an audience with King Charles during this rare visit, as there have been limited opportunities for him to spend time with his grandchildren.

The planned trip holds significance as it marks a reunion with Harry’s wider family and an opportunity for the children to explore his roots in the UK. The desire to prioritize safety has delayed such visits in the past, with Harry expressing a strong wish to introduce his family to his homeland and heritage.
