Construction workers in Poland made a shocking discovery of 29 unborn babies’ bodies at a family home. The workers came across the remains while excavating a driveway on private property, leading to the apprehension of a 52-year-old woman. The suspect faces charges of desecration of a corpse and improper disposal of hazardous waste, potentially resulting in a prison term of two to 12 years, as per Polish news agency PAP.
Authorities found a substantial amount of medical waste, including paraffin blocks and microscope slides, on the premises, according to local media reports. The current property owners, engaged in property renovations, notified the police about the findings, triggering an extensive emergency response. Law enforcement continues to search the area, with operations expected to persist until the following week.
Polish media outlet Interia Wydarzenia reported that the District Prosecutor’s Office in Rzeszów received initial information about the discovery of medical waste, including human fetuses or fragments, on June 10. Medical experts confirmed the remains as human fetuses after assessing the scene.
