Sarah Kellen, who accused Epstein of raping her weekly, claimed that Maxwell facilitated his abusive behavior by fulfilling his every desire. Kellen, who served as Epstein’s personal assistant for over a decade starting in 2001, was implicated as one of his key recruiters of young girls in a plea deal from 2008. Despite being portrayed as a co-conspirator, she described herself as a victim of Epstein’s abuse, denying any active role in his illicit activities.
The released transcript of Kellen’s testimony highlighted her criticism of Maxwell, emphasizing the latter’s involvement in trafficking children for Epstein. Kellen recounted disturbing incidents where Maxwell instructed her on how to please Epstein physically, painting both individuals as abhorrent figures. She portrayed Epstein as unpredictable and menacing, capable of instilling fear even in Maxwell, whom Kellen perceived as a cold and strong woman.
In her testimony, Kellen also mentioned encounters with prominent figures like Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, detailing their presence at various events hosted by Epstein. Notably, she referenced a party at Windsor Castle in 2006 attended by Epstein, Maxwell, and Harvey Weinstein, shedding light on the controversial associations surrounding Epstein’s social circle.
Regarding Prince Andrew’s involvement, Kellen clarified that she did not witness any inappropriate behavior from him, except for his presence at social gatherings organized by Epstein. She reiterated Maxwell’s manipulative tactics, including gifting Castro a book related to her father, the late media tycoon Robert Maxwell.
Kellen’s background as a former Jehovah’s Witness who was groomed at a young age added context to her vulnerabilities when she joined Epstein’s circle after a tumultuous personal life.
