“Questions Arise Over Trump’s Medical Evaluation Report”

A vascular surgeon has expressed doubt regarding the recent medical evaluation report of Donald Trump. The 79-year-old president announced that his health check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last Tuesday indicated that “everything checked out PERFECTLY.”

The White House delayed the release of the results, finally making them public on Friday. Trump’s physician, US Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, stated in a memo that the president is “in excellent health” with robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical functions.

Barbabella’s memo mentioned Trump’s “slight lower leg swelling with improvement from last year” and ongoing hand bruising, attributed to “minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking in the setting of aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention,” which was described as “common” and “benign.”

Despite the positive report, several prominent doctors have cast doubt on the findings. Texas vascular surgeon David Shutze remarked to the Wall Street Journal that the report appears “almost too good to be true for somebody of his age,” suggesting a filtered narrative. Jonathan Reiner, a CNN medical analyst and former cardiologist to Vice President Dick Cheney, shared on social media that the decision not to release the full results raises questions about transparency.
