Princess Eugenie has quietly withdrawn from her position at The King’s Foundation after a year of service. The daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson was appointed as a mentor for the ‘35 under 35’ initiative in May 2025 to support young leaders in fashion, architecture, and environmental activism.
As King Charles’ niece and expecting her third child, Eugenie previously commended the Foundation’s work aligned with the King’s interests. However, after a year, she has decided to step back from her role. Reports suggest that Eugenie’s involvement was intended only for the Foundation’s 35th anniversary year, and it naturally concluded. She had interacted with participants multiple times, providing guidance and support.
Eugenie’s sole public appearance for the foundation was in November last year at a mentors brunch in Soho, where she highlighted the importance of mentorship and discussed how her love for art influenced her career as a gallery director. Despite stepping down from Anti-Slavery International after her father’s arrest, Eugenie remains on good terms with King Charles, who celebrated her recent pregnancy announcement.
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank shared they are expecting their third child, adding to their family of two sons, August and Ernest.
