Clothing retailer Quiz is set to permanently close its remaining 37 stores by the end of June as confirmed by administrators. The company stated that it faced a challenging start to the year and enlisted the help of administrators from Interpath in February.

The closure plan for the final stores will be executed in the upcoming weeks, with three stores in Castlecourt, Belfast, Leeds, and Romford already closed recently. The exact closing dates for the remaining stores have not been disclosed, and the impact on employees is yet to be revealed.

Quiz previously entered administration in February 2025 and was acquired shortly after in a pre-pack deal by a subsidiary of the Ramzan family. The concessions within New Look and Matalan stores are not affected by the administration process.

Remaining stock is being distributed to stores with significant discounts of at least 60% to facilitate the sale of inventory and address the company’s outstanding debts. Administrators are urging shoppers to take advantage of the final closing down sale.

Alistair McAlinden, the head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator, encouraged customers to visit their local store during the final sale. Geoff Jacobs, also a joint administrator, expressed gratitude to Quiz staff for their dedication during challenging times.

This development marks a significant event in the fashion industry. Stay informed on breaking news stories by following The Mirror on various platforms.
