Three women found deceased in the sea off Brighton beach have been identified by authorities as Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walter, 32, and Rebecca Walter, 31, all from the Uxbridge region in London, according to Sussex Police. The father of the sisters, Joseph, expressed profound grief over their loss, emphasizing their unique qualities and the impact they had on their family. He reminisced about their personalities and the irreplaceable joy they brought into his life.

The tragic incident unfolded when emergency services responded to a distress call regarding a woman’s well-being at Brighton beach early Wednesday morning. The bodies of the three women were retrieved near Madeira Drive in the city. A thorough investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding their deaths, with authorities looking into the possibility that the women may have been swept out to sea after entering deeper waters accidentally.

Sussex Police clarified that there is currently no indication of foul play or criminal involvement in the incident. However, detectives are meticulously examining evidence, including CCTV footage and interactions with local establishments, to piece together the events leading up to the tragedy. Chief Superintendent Adam Hays of Brighton and Hove assured that the investigation will leave no stone unturned in seeking answers and providing support to the grieving family.

Members of the public with any pertinent information regarding the sisters’ activities on the night of the incident are urged to come forward to aid the investigation. Sussex Police specifically seek details from individuals who may have seen the women in the vicinity of Madeira Drive between late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. Concerned parties can reach out to the police online or call 101, quoting Operation Ledmore, serial 438 of 20/05.
