The incident occurred on May 15 when two suspects on a motorcycle opened fire on her, causing fatal injuries despite her attempts to escape. This tragedy follows the murder of her partner, Fernando Rocha Alves, in February 2023, where both were attacked by armed individuals. Francisca survived that attack but sustained injuries. After relocating to Nova Mutum, Mato Grosso, she returned to Coelho Neto two days before her untimely death, accompanied by her sister and a friend.
The authorities, specifically the Coelho Neto Police Station, are actively investigating the case to determine if there is a connection between this killing and gang-related activities or the previous murder of Fernando. No suspects have been apprehended yet in connection with the incident.
With a social media following of around 11,400, which surged to 12,900 after news of her demise spread, Francisca shared various content including comedy sketches, glimpses of her daily life, and posts featuring her mother.
