The Royal Air Force’s precision flying team is currently showcasing their skills in Greece as part of the rigorous Exercise Springhawk training. Leaving their usual base at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, the elite squad has chosen the Mediterranean location to take advantage of the favorable weather conditions, adding the final touches to their upcoming performance set to captivate audiences worldwide.

According to a team spokesperson, the overseas pre-season preparations, known as Exercise Springhawk, provide both pilots and ground crew with focused training opportunities to perfect the new show, which evolves annually.

Captivating scenes capture the Red Arrows honing their skills for the upcoming display season as part of Exercise Springhawk training. With a keen focus on training and refining their performance, the team strategically positions themselves in Greece to benefit from the stable weather conditions.

The skilled pilots have a packed schedule planned for 2026, commencing this month to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Crete in Greece. Following their overseas training, the team will return to amaze crowds at the English Riviera Airshow and the Midlands Air Festival.
