Recent data revealed that over 34% of the UK’s energy came from oil in 2022, with nuclear power accounting for just over eight percent and coal around three percent. Contrary to Trump’s claims, windmills in the UK are mainly used for milling grain and have historical significance in agriculture and early industry rather than energy production.
Despite the push for renewable energy, Trump insisted on boosting oil and gas extraction in the North Sea, dismissing the focus on wind turbines as detrimental to business. Refusing to comment on Starmer’s political future amidst Labour’s internal turmoil, Trump continued to criticize the Prime Minister’s immigration stance.
