Police in Manchester are currently investigating the tragic death of a baby girl that occurred yesterday. Authorities responded to a welfare concern report on Platt Lane in Fallowfield on Tuesday morning. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the infant passed away at the hospital.
Following the incident, Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest of a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of child neglect. The woman is currently in police custody. The crime scene on Platt Lane will remain secured as officers conduct their investigations.
