Horrific details have come to light regarding the gruesome actions of singer D4vd in allegedly mutilating a 14-year-old girl using a chainsaw.
The artist, known as David Burke, is currently facing charges in court for the murder of Celeste Rivas.
Prosecutors allege that D4vd arranged for an Uber to transport Rivas from her residence in Lake Elsinore to his residence in the Hollywood Hills on the night of April 23, 2025.
It is claimed that he fatally stabbed Rivas and watched as she bled out at his home.
Court records indicate that Burke purportedly made purchases under the alias of Victoria Mendez, including a shovel from Home Depot and later two chainsaws, a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags, and a blue inflatable pool from Amazon.
Allegedly, Burke took extreme measures to dispose of Rivas’ body, placing it in the pool to contain the blood and using the chainsaw to dismember her.
Investigators found plastic remnants from the pool matching those on Rivas’ remains, confirming the connection to Burke’s purchases.
Additionally, Burke reportedly removed Rivas’ left ring and pinky fingers, which bore his name tattooed on the ring finger, with those fingers never being recovered.
Subsequent to the discovery of evidence suggesting the dismemberment of Rivas’ body, including DNA matching Rivas, a search warrant was executed at Burke’s residence.
Text messages revealed a heated exchange between Burke and Rivas the night before her death, where she allegedly threatened to expose damaging information about him, jeopardizing his career.
The documents also detail the history between Burke and Rivas, indicating they met when she was 11 years old and engaged in a sexual relationship when she was 13.
Before her tragic demise, Rivas was reported missing in February 2024, leading detectives to discover a connection to Burke through her phone records.
Burke claimed ignorance of Rivas’ age and missing status when contacted by law enforcement, persisting in pursuing her despite warnings from her family.
After Rivas’ dismembered body was found in Burke’s Tesla, it was determined that she died from multiple penetrating injuries.
Burke faces charges of first-degree murder with special circumstances, including murder of a witness, murder for financial gain, lewd acts with a minor, and desecration of human remains.
He is currently detained at the twin towers jail in downtown Los Angeles pending trial.
