Knife Attack at Cornwall Vacation Spot; Suspect Apprehended

Armed police were deployed to a vacation spot in Cornwall following an alleged assault on a woman by a knife-wielding man. Devon and Cornwall Police responded to the incident at a holiday park near Looe around midday on Friday. The victim, who suffered knife injuries, was treated at a hospital and discharged the same day. A 43-year-old man from Plymouth was apprehended the next day in connection with the assault. He was later released on bail as the investigation continues. The police conducted a search in the Southway area of Plymouth to locate the suspect after he fled the scene.
