Iran’s Supreme Leader criticizes Donald Trump and US forces in a recent strong statement. Mojtaba Khamenei commended his forces for resisting American and Israeli “arrogance” and warned of forthcoming “new defeats.” He highlighted the exposure of his opponents’ “weakness and humiliation” to the global audience.

Mojtaba, who has not made public appearances since the US-Israel conflict with Iran began in February, assumed leadership following his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s death in the initial attacks. In a statement released through an Iranian state news agency, Mojtaba emphasized how his army has stood against America’s malevolent plans.

He stated, “With strong divine and popular backing, our army aligns with other armed forces in confronting the leading forces of disbelief and arrogance, revealing their weaknesses and humiliations to the world. While our drones swiftly strike American and Zionist offenders, our fearless navy is poised to deliver new defeats to our enemies.”

Following Iran’s announcement of closing the Strait of Hormuz again, reports emerged of Iranian gunboats firing on tankers trying to cross the crucial waterway. Mojtaba concluded his message with blessings for the Islamic Republic Army of Iran and the martyrs of the imposed war by America and Israel against Iran.

Iran’s joint military command confirmed today that control of the Strait of Hormuz has reverted to its prior status under strict armed forces supervision. It cautioned that transit through the strait would remain blocked as long as the US maintained its blockade of Iranian ports.

Two gunboats from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard reportedly fired on a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, as per the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center. The vessel and crew were reported safe, but the specific details were not provided.
