“Missing 9-Year-Old Found Safe in Plymouth Search”

Officers and a police helicopter conducted an extensive search in a major UK city in the evening to locate a missing nine-year-old child. The child was reported missing earlier that evening, triggering a significant response from emergency services.

Plymouth Police initiated a search for the missing child, deploying at least six police cars and a helicopter in the Barne Barton area around 7 pm. Officers were observed searching the Tamar View community complex and Estuary Way, while the helicopter operated overhead.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police provided an update, confirming to Plymouth Live that the child had wandered off but was found safe and unharmed within an hour.
